Harbor Town Days

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Harbor Town Days is comfort food. You inherit a run-down fishing village and slowly rebuild it — shops, docks, festivals, the works. There's no pressure, just a steady loop of little improvements that keep you tapping.

What makes it stick is the townsfolk. Each has small stories that unfold as the town grows, and helping them out feels rewarding in a low-key way. The art is warm and the day-night cycle is genuinely pretty.

It leans casual, so hardcore sim fans might want more systems to wrestle with. For everyone else, it's a lovely thing to open with a coffee. No timers pushing you to rush.
