Velocity Drift

Velocity Drift knows exactly what it is: fast, loud, and all about the slide. There's no fussy simulation here — you tap to steer, hold to drift, and chain corners together for a speed boost that feels genuinely good.

The tracks are neon-soaked city loops, and the sense of speed on a phone screen is impressive. Tilt steering is an option too, and it's actually usable, which is rare. I settled on touch controls but both work.

Progression is a bit repetitive if you're the type to grind for the fastest car. But dip in for a few races and it's a great burst of adrenaline. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting.
